Practice Activity

FAU students are involved in various practicum activities throughout their academic years. Experiences as diverse as possible connect them with the real world and the ways in which it can be touched by the role of the architect. Various partnerships with architectural offices, economic operators in the field of construction or non-governmental entities and in the field of public administration open opportunities that help students to discover the wide palette of nuances of the architect's relevance to society and the economy. The vast majority of these experiences are meant to clarify and reinforce the multiple facets of sustainable approaches. Observation, understanding, contribution, and engagement are the foundation of accountability catalyzed by student practice. The recent volunteer credit formula marks and rewards the valences of generosity that students demonstrate through their practicum actions.

We address all possible partners for student practice with the invitation to build formative, cognitive, professional and moral experiences together. The orientation of the last years divides the practice in the involvement in projects addressed to the Cluj communities or from other places, the own academic community of the entire university and the professional environment of the conception and design of architecture.

The sum of FAU students' contributions through practice constitutes a non-negligible dimension of real-world insertions and transition to professional practice.
