Mission and assumed principles

 

Mission

            The mission of the Faculty of Architecture and Urbanism within the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca is to train competent future architects, with a high degree of professional awareness, able to answer the problems of today and tomorrow.

            The basic training is in the field of architecture but in symbiosis with other related fields such as urban planning , interior architecture, conservation and restoration, furniture or others. The emphasis on the practical side of the profession aims to achieve the goal of training dedicated professionals with complex training, integrated in society and able to make a major contribution in response to the challenges of the future generation.

 

 

The principles underlying the fulfillment of the assumed mission are:

     a) promoting competence and professional excellence

     b) mutual respect between students and teachers

     c) promoting research activities as the basis of the creative process

     d) student involvement in faculty and university life

     e) promoting fairness in all aspects of professional and personal life
